Our client for this project is the world’s leading online marketplace for the vacation rental industry. The successful candidate will be an account manager for the market of your spoken language, meaning that on a daily basis you will be responsible for the inbound and outbound, calling and management, of both prospective and existing customers. This role will also require 50% of your involvement in leading and managing the German sales team. You will be in charge of coaching and training the team along with consulting, advising, and providing pay-per-booking solutions to holiday-rental property owners to build long-term business relationships with them while optimising the quality of their listings and increasing their ROI.

Main Responsibilities

50% Team Lead

  • Manage the sales team
  • Track sales targets for your team
  • Time split 50% generating sales 50% managing team
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team
  • Coaching and Training of the team
  • Perform call audits to improve call quality

50% Sales Specialist

  • Calling the DE market to acquire new business and maintain existing business for our client by selling subscription-based solutions to vacation rental property owners.
  • Correctly match the best product to the customer’s specific needs.
  • Nurture clients throughout the sales process, from start to close.
  • Provide customers with an excellent sales experience and build long-term business relationships.
  • Use an array of systems and tools to provide best-in-class service.
  • Meet the daily/weekly personal and team targets.
  • Stay up to date on vacation rental market trends.

Your Profile

  • Proven work experience as in Sales
  • Native German
  • The ability to leverage data to inform coaching, feedback and development conversations
  • An understanding of how to build  and maintain teams and the right culture considering recruitment, people development and coaching
  • A growth mindset and a strong desire to continuously improve your skillset and that of your teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Committed to delivering targets and growing the Vrbo customer base
  • Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, multicultural environment

  • Full-time employment (12-month contract with 3 months probationary period)
